Conditioning: Getting Fighting Fit

There are a great deal of various conditioning exercises that one can utilize in order to keep focused in the midst of pain. Training is definitely a commitment (most exercises must be done every day), but that is the nature of mental conditioning; and when it becomes apparent that you are living through the initial hours of Tuesday, you will be very glad that you took the time to properly prepare.

Strengthen your neck: Boxers train with head straps connected to a weight. They lay down on the ring with their heads hanging over the edge, letting the weight dangle over the floor while lifting their heads up and down, building the neck muscle. Be careful, however. Such exercises, if done improperly, can cause serious injury. While it’s still Monday (that is, Apocalypse Tuesday has not yet come), train with someone experienced: you’ll be glad you did.
